The U-505 is a Type XIc long range attack U-Boat that was captured on the high seas by U.S. Navy Task Force 22.3 on June 4, 1944. The U-505 was the first vessel captured at sea by the American Navy since the War of 1812! Today the U-505 is on permanent display at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
This beautiful, mint condition print measures 11" x 17" and is personally signed and dated by the artist.
