The USS Abraham Lincoln, a George Washington Class fleet ballistic missile submarines, was commissioned on May 11, 1961 and decommissioned on February 28, 1981 after nearly 20 years of dedicated service. It was 381 feet long and 33 feet wide at the beam and displaced 5,959, tons on the surface and 6,709 tons submerged. This magnificent nuclear powered submarine carried 16 Polaris missiles and stood at the forefront of America's defense during the Cold War.
This beautiful, mint condition print measures 11" x 17" and is personally signed and dated by the artist.
