The USS Theodore Roosevelt was a George Washington (598) Class Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine. It was launched on October 3, 1959, commissioned on February 13, 1961, and decommissioned on December 1, 1982. The sub displaced 5,959 tons on the surface and 6,709 tons submerged, was 381 feet long and 33 feet at the beam, and carried 16 Polaris missiles. The Roosevelt's complement was 2 crews (Blue and Gold) 139 each.
This beautiful, mint condition print measures 11" x 17" and is personally signed and dated by the artist.
