Known as "The Big E", the USS Enterprise was commissioned in 1961, is the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and, to this day, holds the records as the longest, tallest and fastest carrier in the fleet. With over 280,000 horsepower, the carrier can reach a maximum speed of over 30 knots. It measures 1,123 feet long, has a breadth of 257 feet, and is 250 high from keel to mast, with a 4.47 acre flight deck. The Enterprise has two 30-ton anchors, four propellers, and four 35-ton rudders. The crew of approximately 3,150 consists of 150 officers, 150 chief petty officers, and 2,850 petty officers E-3 and below. This beautiful, mint condition print measures 11" x 17" and is personally signed and dated by the artist.
